Trawler caught fishing without pingers threatens Sea Shepherd

Another dolphin drowned in commercial fishing net confirms that trawlers aren’t using acoustic repellants.

Two trawlers, the F/V Jérémi Simon and the F/V Prométhée, captured a dolphin in front of Sea Shepherd’s team of observers Tuesday evening. This is the same pair of trawlers Sea Shepherd filmed pulling up two dolphins in their nets last year. Both vessels are a part of a group of fishing vessels who are refusing to allow observers onboard.
