SOSTIENI ACCEDI

Side by Side: Plants vs. Animals

This video is a side-by-side comparison showing the differences between plant and animal agriculture. As much as some meat-eaters would like to argue otherwise, there’s currently no reason to believe that plants experience pain, because plants don’t have central nervous systems, nerve endings, or brains. But sentient animals on factory farms clearly express signs of pain, both vocally and physically.

It’s also a fact that raising animals for food accounts for up to half of all water used in the U.S. And the majority of grains and legumes grown today are used to feed cattle. By eating vegetables directly, we’re essentially saving more plants for people to eat and destroying less land.
