Sheep goes on a walk

Joan isn’t feeling well and, after multiple medical tests, we still don’t know what’s wrong with her. 💔

😔 Sometimes we don’t get answers to the questions we have.

But we also try to think outside the box. Joan has never bonded with the other sheep here. We have introduced daily walks and her own special pasture to see if time with people aid her. 💚

The daily walks have helped improve Joan’s emotional well being. She is eating more and reveling in time spent with people.

Joan’s ailment may be more emotional in nature than physical. She came from a loving human family but lost all of her sheep family. As we continue to rule out physical problems, we will work to Nurture her and provide more mental enrichment.
