Rosaire’s Bears Forces Distressed Bears to Perform

At the Anah Shrine Circus, bears exhibited by Rosaire’s Bears were constantly slapped, poked, and jabbed. They were coerced to walk and sit like humans, push carts, and climb ladders—all of which can lead to muscle or joint pain, injury, and chronic psychological distress.

One bear was even seen urinating while walking backwards, which was likely a severe distress response to being forced to perform these uncomfortable acts. He was also frantically licking his own urine off the floor, which is an abnormal behavior that could be caused by an underlying health concern, or it could be a coping mechanism as a result of extreme psychological suffering.

Please visit PETA.org to ask Rosaire’s Bears to end bear performances and retire the animals to reputable sanctuaries immediately.
