River Night killed at Caulfield

3-year-old River Night was beaten with the whip and pushed well beyond her physical limits, sustaining a painful injury and then killed. She is one of the approximately 130 killed on Australian racetracks each year that we learn of. Many more are injured and taken off the course to be killed behind the scenes. Rest in Peace River Night.
