Patricia De León is teaming up with PETA Latino and calling on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to stop funding experimenter Elisabeth Murray’s “monkey fright” experiments, in which she induces permanent brain damage in monkeys and terrorizes them with realistic-looking fake snakes and spiders.
