We just rescued Lulu the potbelly pig whose elderly companion sadly fell ill and couldn’t take care of her anymore. Lulu was left alone for weeks.
She was found carrying a stuffed Elmo around and kept vigil by her guardian’s empty chair.
Of course, we agreed to take her in, along with her Elmo, whom she is highly attached to.
Enjoy this video of 7-year-old Lulu enjoying her first FIRST EVER time in straw!
We are so glad Lulu is settling in here at the Sanctuary and this straw-digging is a good sign!
