Long-distance transports of “Easter” lambs

Our investigative teams are on the road again. This time to inspect trucks carrying lambs to Italy for Easter. This time, the Italian police are supporting us five times to stop and inspect the trucks. Since 2016, we have repeatedly observed the same violations committed by the same transport companies. This year, each of the controlled transports is fined. The fines total more than 20,000 €.

It is time to end cruel long-distance transports of lambs.
