Mice and rats are considered so worthless under federal law that experimenters can force-feed them insecticide, drop them in beakers filled with water to make them panic, squeeze them until blood comes out of their eyes, and chop their heads off in guillotines without even having to report how many the kill.

Like any other animal, mice and rats are individuals. They don’t deserve to suffer in laboratories.
