Hens On a Plane: Animal Place’s Coast to Coast Airlift

Animal Place saved 3,000 hens from gassing at a California egg farm. On September 4th, 1,150 of those hens were flown to sanctuaries on the east coast. This is a short video of Animal Place’s efforts to get the hens loaded safely for their flight. The hens landed safe and sound. This is the first time ever adult hens have been flown coast to coast.
