Granjas de cerdos | Pig farms
Investigación realizada por Igualdad Animal sobre la cría de cerdos en España. Las imágenes aquí mostradas son una selección de las decenas de miles de fotografías tomadas en el transcurso de una investigación que nos ha llevado a visitar 172 granjas (intensivas y extensivas) de distintas partes de España (Andalucía, Aragón, Cataluña, Castilla-León, Castilla-La Mancha, Extremadura, Madrid, Murcia, Navarra, País Vasco y Valencia).
Hemos documentado la vida de estos animales desde su nacimiento en las granjas hasta su muerte en los mataderos y todos los horrores que padecen (mutilaciones, privación de libertad, canibalismo, enfermedades, heridas abiertas, trastornos psicológicos…).
The images shown here are part of the Animal Equality’s investigation on Spanish pig farms. They have been selected among tens thousands of photographies taken during our investigation. This has lead us to visit more than one hundred seventy two farms (intensive and extensive ones) from different parts of Spain. We have documented the life of these animals since their birth at the farms till their death at the slaughterhouses, and all the horrors they suffer (mutilations, freedom deprivation, canibalism, illness, open wounds…).
