Separated from their social environment, they are loaded onto trucks and crammed into their own urine and excrement.

Violence is systematic, inherent to the process, and normalized.
There is no slaughterhouse where animals do not suffer, just as there is no humane way to kill someone who wants to live.

That’s why we bear witness, to amplify their voices and tell their stories to the world.
