(EN) In this slaughterhouse the method used to stun animals prior to slaughter was just a stick. Due to poor conditions beating pigs in their heads was the way to inmobilize the animals and make the throat cutting easier. This scene was recorded in 2017 while I helped Aitor Garmendia (Tras los Muros) in his investigative work about the Mexican slaughterhouses.

Debido a la situación de pobreza este era el método utilizado para hacer el acuchillamiento más fácilmente. Estas imágenes fueron grabadas en 2017 mientras di apoyo a la producción de la investigación que Aitor Garmendia (Tras los Muros) realizó en mataderos de Mexico.
