Bear Yanked by the Muzzle Is Forced to Walk on Hind Legs for Circus Performance

Two bears from Castle’s Bears were forced to perform difficult and grueling tricks during a recent James Cristy Cole Circus performance in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Bears rarely walk on their hind legs in nature, and exposure to loud noises, such as those at a circus performance, is distressing to these sensitive animals. In the video, a trainer can be seen yanking and pulling on a leash attached to the muzzle of one bear as she walks up stairs, which could result in injury.
